1-10-04 - 10pm - Ok. It's October and I'm up to date, really. Seriously though, more coming very shortly. If you just arrived here, don't forget to read the Prev Month link above, for what you missed (And I was too slack to update) in the past 3 months!!!

6-10-04 - 7pm - Well, tomorrow the car goes to the suspension shop to get my coilovers fixed and the height raised a little to meet regulations. I found when these new coilovers arrived that they had been made from several good brands' products. Ohlins shocks, Tanabe Precedeo springs, and TEIN solid upper mounts. Unfortunately the big metal platform that the spring compresses against and sits on (its name escapes me) had actually slipped down over the threaded height adjustment rings, making it impossible for me to adjust the car's height from where it was already set (which I'd been assured had come off a car that was legal height, dammit).

So, hopefully by the end of the day we will have a fixed set of coilovers which are easily adjustable with the use of spring compressors while the suspension's still in the car, and the car will be legal height for taking it over the pits in the next week or two.

28-10-04 - 8pm - Yellow sticker is off. Turbo system is permitted, as is the air filter/Intercooler... Finally, yeah. So basically, they picked the car on stupid shit, and the really important stuff was all fine. Heh... suits me. Works really well from the perspective of future Sequential TT Setups for other prospective buyers :)

At least now when I eventually have a kid, I'll be able to strap them in the Supra safely... I mean, like I would've just sat them there without a child restraint if they were my kid... but, anyways. All over and done with now.

We'll be putting the new valve in (And hopefully the last bloody valve for the system) asap...

Also I have to say a big thanks to AJ at Speedworks for fitting my car in at super late notice to do some exhaust work that they usually don't do anyway. You're a champ mate!

So, yeah, there's now something of an end in sight... now the car's perfectly legal (basically, I'm still looking for a Plumb Back BOV, if you have one, let me know please!) we can get to optimising and proving this system works!
